Te Kāinga Wāhine Membership
Terms & Conditions

1. Membership Eligibility

  • Membership is open to wāhine Māori aged 18 and older who align with the values of Te Kāinga Wāhine.

  • New memberships are subject to review and approval by Te Kāinga Wāhine.

  • By joining, members agree to uphold the kaupapa and values of Te Kāinga Wāhine.

2. Membership Benefits

  • Members will have access to exclusive content, events, workshops, and community networking opportunities provided by Te Kāinga Wāhine.

  • Membership benefits may evolve over time to better serve the needs of members and the kaupapa.

3. Membership Fees

  • Membership fees are $649 NZD per annum, or $59 NZD per month.

  • Fees are payable upon joining, and on an annual/monthly recurring basis, as selected by the member during the joining process.

  • Payments are processed via Stripe checkout, and your personal information is handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

  • No refunds will be issued for any reason at any time.

  • Te Kāinga Wāhine reserves the right to adjust membership fees with at least 30 days' notice to members.

4. Code of Conduct

  • Members are expected to engage respectfully and positively within the Te Kāinga Wāhine community.

  • Discrimination, harassment, or any behavior that undermines the mana of others is not tolerated.

  • Breaches of this code may result in suspension or termination of membership at the discretion of Te Kāinga Wāhine.

5. Privacy and Data

  • Te Kāinga Wāhine respects your privacy and is committed to protecting personal information. Member data will only be used for purposes related to membership and will not be shared with third parties without consent.

  • Members agree not to share confidential information obtained through membership, including event details or shared stories, outside the Te Kāinga Wāhine community without permission.

6. Intellectual Property

  • All resources, materials, and content provided by Te Kāinga Wāhine are the intellectual property of Te Kāinga Wāhine and are for personal use only.

  • Members may not reproduce, distribute, or use these materials for commercial purposes without written consent.

7. Membership Termination

  • Members may terminate their membership anytime by emailing kiaora@tekaingawahine.co.nz with 30 days' notice. Refunds will not be given for part periods used.

  • Te Kāinga Wāhine reserves the right to terminate a membership if the member breaches the terms and conditions or acts in a way that contradicts the kaupapa.

8. Limitation of Liability

  • Te Kāinga Wāhine is not liable for any direct, indirect, or consequential damages arising from participation in membership activities, except as required by law.

9. Disclaimer

  • By becoming a member, you understand and agree that Te Kāinga Wāhine does not offer financial, legal, medical, or health advice—or any other professional advice. Membership is designed to support your personal and professional growth, but it’s not a replacement for working with a qualified expert if you need it. You’re in charge of your own decisions and outcomes.

  • Te Kāinga Wāhine doesn’t make promises or guarantees about what you might gain from your membership—whether that’s income, business growth, sales, new clients, promotions, connections, or anything else. What you get out of this experience is up to you, and we’re not responsible for the results of any choices you make based on the membership content or resources we provide.

10. Changes to Terms and Conditions

  • Te Kāinga Wāhine reserves the right to update these Terms and Conditions at any time. Members will be notified of significant changes.
