At the Tēpu
Nana’s tēpu always had a spread ready to go for the next person who walked in the door. The kettle was always a moment away from boiling, and if you were really lucky, Grandad would pull a few shiny coins out of his pockets to go into yours.
We remember stories of the past being shared there. Dreams for the future. And of course, a few yarns about the present.
The tēpu was a place of gathering, sharing and connecting.
Just like our blog.
